Google Play data, by the hundred
One app per request is fine for a widget. For a database you need volume: APK Unit looks up 100 package names in a single call, pages through any category 100 apps at a time and returns the same clean JSON for each record. 4.1M apps, refreshed every night.

Built for volume
APK Unit is the bulk side of the APK API. The same records that power single app pages come out in batches, with predictable cost and stable field names, so a nightly job can keep a table of Google Play apps current without a scraper.
- Batch lookups.
/apps?ids=takes up to 100 package names and answers with every full record in one response. - Paged lists.
/searchpages through a category or a filter 100 apps at a time. - Fixed cost. One token per app in a batch lookup, two tokens per list page of up to 100 apps.
- Stable shape. The same JSON fields for every record, removed apps included, with the time each record was refreshed.

Exporting a category
- Get a key. Sign up on apkunit.com with an email, no card; the key is in the cabinet with free monthly tokens.
- Page the list. Call
/search?category=FINANCE&min_installs=10000&per=100&page=1and continue whilepageis belowpages. - Fill in the details. Send the package names to
/apps?ids=in groups of 100 when you need full records. - Refresh nightly. Re-run the lookups for the apps you keep;
status.fetched_attells you how fresh each record is.

An independent Google Play data service
APK Unit on apkunit.com is part of the APK API network: it reads the public Google Play listing for 4.1M apps and refreshes it every night. It is an independent service, not affiliated with Google, and it serves metadata only: apkunit.com does not host, distribute or link to APK files. The brand main site is apkapi.com, where the same API, documentation and account live.
Bulk Google Play data: questions
What is APK Unit?
APK Unit (apkunit.com) is the bulk access point of the APK API: batch lookups of up to 100 Google Play apps per call and paged lists of up to 100 apps per page, over 4.1M app records refreshed every night.
Is apkunit.com an official APK API site?
Yes. apkunit.com is part of the APK API network, and the brand main site is apkapi.com. A key created on apkunit.com uses the same APK API, so it works across the network for keys, billing and documentation.
How many apps can I look up in one call?
Up to 100 package names per call to /apps. The answer contains one full record per app; unknown package names are reported as missing instead of failing the whole batch.
What does a bulk export cost?
A batch lookup costs one token per app, and a list page of up to 100 apps costs two tokens. Listing a category of 10,000 apps therefore costs about 200 tokens, and full records for all of them about 10,000.
How do I export more than 10,000 apps?
A single query pages up to its 10,000th result. Split a bigger export by category, install band or release date, and each part pages to its own 10,000.
Can I get the data as CSV?
The API answers in JSON. Flattening it to CSV takes a few lines in any language; the Docs section has an example in Python.
Can I download APK files from apkunit.com?
No. APK Unit is a Google Play metadata service: titles, developers, installs, ratings, versions and categories. It does not host, distribute or link to APK files; the answers are JSON, not binaries.
